I would not say all the puzzles are tough in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Some of them are and the Abandoned Shack Chest puzzle is one of them. When you reach the location you would find a door, that seems like it could be broken.
As you start the quest head straight towards the cave where you can get a mount.
Head to this location and jump from your mount to get to the platform you see on the left. You are basically using your mount to climb to the top.
Swing to the other side of the cliff and you will find an interactable machine. Let BD-1 do that for you and you would see the Roller Mine appear.
Now go back to the door and use the Roller Mine to break it open. All you need to do is throw the mine at the door.
Once the door is broken you can get inside and open the chest you find there. That is all you need to know about solving the Abandoned Shack Quest Puzzle in Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor.
