Apex Legend S9 – Characters are Locked Bug | How to Fix

Apex Legends allows us to use a variety of different characters with unique abilities to fit our play style. One of the most important aspects of the game is unlocking new characters so that you get to know if the new character works even better for you and moreover to have fun.

Unlocking characters is not so easy in Apex. It takes hours of grinding and you have to be patient before you unlock one of them. Just imagine how annoying it would be if you found out all your efforts were in vain and now you do not have any of your unlocked characters. that is definitely a serious problem.

The legacy update has its share of bugs. They started off with server issues which isn’t actually a bug but then users could not even launch the game because of that. But then they finally got connected they found something even more heartbreaking.

Is there a Fix?

The developers are working on it for now. There is no way you can fix it yourself. The devs at Respawn Entertainment are currently still working on this problem. This is  what they have tweeted :

They did manage to get the issue fixed for a few users and they will be able to do it for the rest as well. Apparently, it is taking a while but the assurance is given and that is what we want right? All you need to do now is be a little patient and wait until this is fixed for you too.
