After you visit Asgard, you will meet Ivaldi who is a character from Norse Mythology. He was asked by Eivor to make an unbreakable chain for him and for that Ivaldi asks him to solve a simple riddle. He wants us to find the Cat’s Footfall.
In order to get the Cat’s Footfall, we have to go to the palace entrance in Asgard which will appear on our objective marker. Getting to the exact location could be tricky unless we use our raven. The area will be highlighted in green making things easier for us. We will be able to see a Golden Cat statue right on top of a pillar near the entrance. But, the moment we climb on top of it to get the statue, it vanishes. The statue would teleport onto another pillar.
Keep following it as it teleports onto other locations until you get to a ledge which would be like a dead end. The cat statue would disappear from there as well leaving you no choice but to perform the Leap of Faith onto a haystack. That is it, you would automatically find the Cat’s Footfall in your inventory.
