Black Myth Wukong- BEST Graphics Settings

Looking for the Best Graphics Settings for Black Myth: Wukong? Well, you have come to the right place as we help you tweak the Graphic Settings in a way that the game gives you decent performance without losing much of its visual depth.

Here is the Best Graphics Setting for Black Myth Wukong:

Black Myth Wukong is one of the most visually impressive games I have seen. The game is not easy on the hardware and you need a decent PC to enjoy the game with the best possible visuals. However, that does not mean that people with average GPUs will have to put everything on Low and run the game.

If you know how to play around with the Graphics Settings you can crank up the visuals without losing too much FPS. This guide will be dedicated to users having average PCs.

Here is how you do it:

Display Setting:

  • Resolution: Native (Use your monitor’s default resolution for best performance)
  • V-Sync: Off
  • Framerate Cap: Off

Graphics Settings:

  • Super Resolution: 72 (anything above 70 gives you decent sharpness but at the cost of framerate. Therefore make sure you do not exceed 75)
  • Super Resolution Sampling: FSR/DLSS (I prefer FSR as it gives me Frame Generation. NVIDIA 40 series users will have frame generation with DLSS)
  • Frame Generation: On (Gives you a good FPS Boost.)
  • Full Ray Tracing: Off (Ray Tracing will bring down performance to the ground. Avoid at all costs.)

  • View Distance Quality: Medium (Increasing this to High would mean a lot more elements far away will be rendered at the same time which will bring down performance)
  • Anti-Aliasing Quality: Medium/High (If you are playing at 1080p keep it on High. If you are on 1440p, keep this on medium)
  • Post-Effects Quality: High (Basically related to DOF, sub-surface scattering, and ambient occlusion. Apart from ambient occlusion none of these take too much from your GPU. You can afford to set this on High)
  • Shadow Quality: Medium (Very Heavy on the GPU so keep it on Medium. Low just looks bad.)
  • Texture Quality: Medium/High/Very High/ Cinematic (Depends on V-RAM. If it is less than 4GB use Medium. 4-6GB use High, 6-8GB use Very High and if it is above 8 GB  then crank it up to Cinematic)
  • Visual Effect Quality: Medium (You will hardly have time to notice visual effect details when you are getting swarmed by enemies)
  • Hair Quality: High
  • Vegetation Quality: Medium/High (You will be surrounded by Vegetation almost all the time. Would recommend keeping this on Medium. However, you can crank it up to High and check if the loss in performance is way too much. If you can adjust to it, then keep it on High as it looks amazing).
  • Global Illumination Quality: High (Lighting matters a lot to me personally. I would therefore recommend keeping this on High. However, if you are okay with a little downgrade to the overall lighting, you can set it to Medium)
  • Reflection Quality: Medium/ High (You will not always come across reflective surfaces. Therefore I would recommend using High, unless you come across an area where the reflection detail is too high. You can lower it down depending on how much of the overall performance you are losing.)

There you go, that should be all on the “Best Graphics Settings for Black Myth: Wukong”
