COD Black Ops Cold War – Game is Installed but Play option is not there

Recently, I have come across this problem with the Battle.net users on PC. COD Black Ops Cold War , even though the game is installed but they would not get The “Play” option. There is a very easy fix to this .

COD Black Ops Cold War – Game is Installed but Play option is not there

This is a pretty common issue and can be fixed very easily. It seems like Battle.net could not identify the location of the game on your PC. All we need to do is help the client identify the game folder so that it can process all the files and you can play the game again. In order to do that :

  • Restart Battle.net . If the problem is still there then do the next step
  • Instead of the Play option you get an option called Install . Just underneath that option you would get this – “Already Installed ? Locate the game
  • Click on Locate the game and then you need to Browse your PC for the folder where you had installed COD Black Ops Cold War
  • Once you select the base folder you would see that the files get processed and it would display as “Updating”
  • When that is done you would get the Play option again.

There you go, an easy fix for this problem. Hope this guide had been useful . Enjoy the game
