The R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow is here and the weapons feel overpowered already. It literally shots your enemies. However, the low bullet velocity would go against you a lot of the time. You would clearly see the bullet drop making a huge difference in aiming.
The weapon starts off with just 6 bolts. Missing is definitely not an option. Also, the longer reload speed is also a problem. Keeping all these negatives aside the fact that the gun could one shot an enemy is why we love this bad boy.

Let’s quickly see how we can unlock the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow. If you select the secondary weapon and then choose the Special Weapon class you would find the R1 Shadowhunter.
The Requirement :
You need to get 3 One Shot, and One Kill medals in 15 different games, 3 per game. But you have to use a weapon with absolutely no attachments. You can use any weapon for this. You also need to see the medal “One Shot One Kill” appear on the top of your screen.
The Strategy :
The pretty simple tactic we are going to use here. We are going to get this objective done with a sniper rifle. The Pellington, Tundra, or the M82 whichever you feel comfortable using. Even shotguns might work but make sure you remove every attachment from the gun. So basically you have to kill enemies with the first bullet. Now not every sniper kill will be a One Shot One Kill (even if you eliminate them with one bullet). From what I know, you cannot miss or you need to kill an enemy with the first shot in a round. Do this 3 times a game for 15 games and you will be able to unlock the R1 Shadowhunter.
The Best Optic :
The crossbow comes with only an attachment for Optic. You cannot put any other attachment on this weapon. After using various optics on this weapon the best one is :
- Microflex LED
The reason is simple. Microflex LED gives you a very clear sight. You do not get distracted by the scope and since we need to be on point with the aim, this optic works absolutely fine on this weapon.
