The MG 82 is an LMG with the highest fire rate. Yes, imagine a stoner with an even higher fire rate. Its magazine capacity compensates for its increased fire rate as well. Overall I would say that this gun is the Camper’s dream. The recoil on this gun is pretty low as well. You can easily turn into a gun shooting laser beam with the right attachments. Well, that is what we are here for aren’t we?

Best Attachments :

Lets us first consider a build with the Gunfighter perk :

• Use any scope you want. I personally do not like the default iron sight on this gun at all. The Millstop Reflex works pretty well for me.
• Muzzle: Infantry Compensator (for best recoil) / Agency Suppressor (for silencer)
• Barrel:  16.4″ Task Force (For Max Damage)
• Body: Steady Aim Laser (Hip Fire Accuracy)
• Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip (Recoil control)
• Magazine: Fast Mag (for faster reload since magazine capacity is already high)
• Handle: Airborne Elastic Rap (Aim down sight and flinch resistance)
• Stock: Marathon Stock (Sprint to fire only)

The things you must remember while doing a build are that we need to have maximum Hip Fire, Recoil Control, and Aim Down Sight time. Make sure you do not put attachments which has negative values for the ones I mentioned. LMGs already have a slow sprint to fire time hence trying to build on that would be stupid. LMGs are not meant for you to run and gun like SMGs.

Now let us consider a build without the Gunfighter Perk :

• Muzzle: Infantry Compensator (for best recoil)
• Barrel:  16.4″ Task Force (For Max Damage)
• Body: Steady Aim Laser (Hip Fire Accuracy)
• Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip (Recoil control)
• Handle: Airborne Elastic Rap (Aim down sight and flinch resistance)

If you want to use a scope then you can remove the Body attachment for the gun and add the scope you want.
