COD Black Ops Cold War – Server Queue Error | How to Fix

Are you getting a Server Queue error every time you try to launch Black Ops Cold War? Well, let’s find out how we can fix this.

COD Black Ops Cold War – Server Queue Error | How to Fix

The Server Queue Error blocks you from getting connected to a server. Normally happens when too many people log into a server. Due to the high volume the game often crashes and the next time you run the game you would get this error.

It will ask you to wait for a particular amount of time. When you do that the game will show that it is connecting to the server and then after a while, it will eventually show you this error screen and you would have to quit the game.

Is there a fix?

Apparently, there are no official fixes to this now. But you can definitely try these steps as they worked for me.  The most important thing you need to know is why you get this error. There could possibly be a huge load on the server or the servers might be down. It could also be a problem at your end – an internet problem or a corrupted file that doesn’t let you connect. Therefore try these steps :

  • Turn off your internet connection
  • Turn off your console or in the case of a PC you can turn off the Battle.net launcher. You can even turn off your PC
  • Wait for a while before you turn them back on.
  • If you are on Battle.net then go to the settings icon next to the play button and select Scan and Repair
  • Then re-launch the game and check.

If the issue is at your end this should fix the problem. If the server in your region is overloaded or down this will not fix the problem for you. In that case, you would have to wait for the servers to get fixed first. Maybe you can try launching the game after an hour or two. I hope this guide has been helpful.
