Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is just around the corner and the excitement for this one is real. Like last time, we again get to choose between two Editions of the game- Standard and The Vault.
If you are confused between the two? We are here to help.
This guide will help you decide which Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Edition you should actually go for.
COD Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Which Edition Should You Buy?
Along with these two Editions, we also have a Cross-Gen Edition for the PlayStation 4 users who might go on and upgrade to PlayStation 5. They would get a free COD MW3 update as well which basically means they don’t have to buy the game again.
Let’s compare the versions and see what they have to offer
Standard (PC) / Cross-Gen Version ($69.99) | Vault Edition ($99.99) |
Base Game / Base Game for PS4/PS5 | Base Game |
Early Access Open Beta | Early Access Open Beta |
Early Access Campaign | Early Access Campaign |
Soap Operator Pack | Soap Operator Pack |
– | Nemesis Operator Pack |
– | 2 Weapon Vaults |
– | BlackCell Season 1 Pass |
– | 50 Tier Skips |
– | 1100 COD Points |
For the extra 30 bucks, they are giving you the BlackCell Season 1 Pass and 1100 COD Points. You are also getting the 2 weapon vaults and the Nemesis Operator Pack. The question is whether or not it would be a waste of money.
Now, I know a lot of people out there just love to sit and grind all day. If you are someone who invests a lot of time in Call Of Duty, you might as well get the Vault Edition. The best thing about that edition is the COD Points that you get. Add them to the COD Points you earn from the Battle Pass and you have enough to buy the next one without investing any more money into the game.
This is by far the most important reason why people should buy the Vault Edition.
For the casual ones out there, the Standard Edition should be the way to go. You are getting what you want and that is the Game and the Beta Access. If you don’t care about the Vault, there is no need to buy the more expensive edition. Yes, the vault gives you the advantage in Beta as you get to access some of the attachments. However, that is only for 4 days and you won’t really need all that in the Beta.
You can always upgrade your game version later on. So if you ask me the best Edition to buy for COD MW3 would be the Standard one as it gives me the opportunity to upgrade to Vault anytime I want. Buying the Vault Edition and then not being satisfied with the game content would hurt more.
There you go, that is all you need to know about “Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (COD MW3) Which Edition Should You Buy?”
