Wondering if you should complete the 92+ Prime Icon Moments SBC ? We have just the right solution for you.
FIFA 21 – 92+ Prime Icon Moments Upgrade | Should you do this SBC?
EA launched the new 92+ Prime Icon Moments Upgrade which guarantees you an Icon Moments card equal to or above 92 overall ratings. Sounds pretty interesting, doesn’t it? Well considering the total number of icons there are in the game it doesn’t really sound that interesting though.
We have 101 icons in the game and out of them 72 icons are above or equal to 92 overall. So you have a chance of packing 1 out of these 72 icons in the game. Well, I believe now you feel your chances of pulling out someone worth it seems even lower, doesn’t it? Let’s discuss this a little bit more about this SBC.
Is this SBC worth it?
Well, as I said before there are 72 icons out of 101 icon cards which is equal to or above the 92 ratings. There are pretty good ones out there, to be honest, but at the same time, there are pretty lame cards as well. Well, I am not saying the icons were lame in real life, it is just that they are not suited for the meta of the game and EA did not do justice to some of the cards. Considering the price of the SBC being :
- PS – 524k
- Xbox – 534k
- PC- 693k
We can easily do our calculation based on the price of the icons above and below the SBC price. Since Xbox and PlayStation are more or less similar in prices we will consider 529k as an average for both. While PC is a bit overpriced, to be honest.
Lets us consider the number of icons above or equal to 92 overall ratings and also above 529k :
- Diego Maradona
- Zinedine Zidane
- Eric Cantona
- Johan Cruyff
- Kenny Dalglish
- Fernando Torres
- Carlos Alberto
- Roberto Carlos
- Lothar Matthaus
- George Best
- Samuel Eto
- Thierry Henry
- Emilio Butragueno
Out of 72 Icons cards in the pack, only 22 of them are worth above 529k coins. Considering the fact that you have only a 30.5% chance (mathematically) of picking up a card above the price of the SBC this could be a very difficult call. So in other words, 3 out of 10 packs would give you an icon worth over 529k. But now this is completely based on pure mathematics and FIFA packs work very differently. There is a concept of pack weight or drop rate which prevents you from pulling good players every now and then. This would mean your chances of pulling an icon card above 529k could be even less than 10%. This means icons between 200k-400k will have the highest drop rate.
However, for PC it is a whole different story. A lot more Icon Moments cards are actually above 692k. The price difference is huge. For example when Fernando Torres for around 550k on the consoles but on PC he was around 1.3m till last week. He is currently at 850k.
And also price differences go even beyond 1m. So this SBC could actually be a lot more profitable for PC users than console users (PS and Xbox combined). PC users should do this SBC no matter what unless they want to do the Samuel Eto or Matthaus SBC. If that is the case then it completely depends on your club fodder.
Now FIFA 21 is almost coming to an end. We have like 2 months more. At this point, I am sure everyone will have a lot of unnecessary Red Picks and club fodder we can use. This could drastically reduce the actual coins spent on the SBC.
If you can complete this SBC within 200-350k coins or even less then you must do it. We do not really have anything to lose here. 2 months more and we are done. We can afford to risk fodder for SBC and not be too emotional about it.
So my final verdict would be to do this SBC. It is a must for PC users and considering the number of coins you spend on the SBC for console users I did this SBC on 3 different accounts and got Stoichkov, Nesta, and Del Piero. My friend pulled Butragueno and a few even got Cantona and Henry. So go ahead and try your luck, we have nothing to lose here. All the best
