FIFA 21 – How to Fix Lag / Stutter / FPS Drops / Performance Boost

Football fans love FIFA and FIFA 21 is perhaps the most anticipated sports game this year . Especially because they are bringing in so many changes to the gameplay and obviously in Ultimate team which is the most played FIFA game mode .

The question is how well does it run on PC ?

FIFA had always been a hardware friendly game . If you have the correct requirements you will not necessarily lag. The game almost never has performance issues.

But since many users did complain about FIFA 21 having performance issues , it could be possible that the improved visuals could be the cause. If not there could other factors which could bring the performance down which we do not know of.

So how do get the issue fixed ?

FIFA 21 – How to Fix Lag / Stutter / FPS Drops / Performance Boost

Since we do not know what exactly could be cause of the stutters and lag we have to eliminate all the possible ways which might bring down the performance of the game

Lets Start with a System Requirement Check :

FIFA is known to run even on low spec PCs . At times the game would run even if you are below the Minimum Requirement. But that would certainly take a toll on the performance of the game. Stutters , Lag and FPS Drops could ruin your gameplay completely. So lets check the requirements :

Minimum Requirements :

  • CPU: Athlon X4 880K / Core i3-6100 or better
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 64-Bit
  • VIDEO CARD: Radeon HD 7850 or better/GeForce GTX 660 or better
  • PIXEL SHADER: 5.0
  • VERTEX SHADER: 5.0
  • FREE DISK SPACE: 50 GB

Recommended Requirements :

  • CPU: AMD FX 8150 / Core i5-3550 or better
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
  • VIDEO CARD: Radeon R9 270x or better/GeForce GTX 670 or better
  • PIXEL SHADER: 5.0
  • VERTEX SHADER: 5.0

We would say that you need to have the recommended setup to run the game smoothly without any fps drops or performance issues
