Horizon Zero Dawn Best Graphics Settings for No Lag and FPS Drops

Best Settings :

  • Preset – Original
  • Textures – Medium
  • Model Quality – Medium
  • Shadows – Low
  • Reflections – Medium
  • Clouds – Low
  • Anti-aliasing – Camera Based
  • Motion Blur – Off
  • Ambient occlusion – Original
Specifications we used to test :
  • CPU : Ryzen 5 3600
  • GPU : AMD RX 580
  • RAM : 16GB DDR4 3000mhz
  • OS : Windows 10 64-bit (Version 2004)
  • HDD : 1 TB 7200 rpm
  • Monitor Resolution : 1920×1080
  • Driver : Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2

This would work fine for an average PC like the one we used. High end PCs would definitely do a lot better . The game being very poorly optimized is a disappointment nonetheless . Make  sure that you play the game at native resolution . That is if you have a 1080p monitor you should play the game at 1920*1080p . If you go beyond that resolution you can use Render Scale and lower the value to get better FPS. Enjoy the game .
