This guide will help you catch and tame livestock animals in Raft.
How to Catch Livestock Animals in Raft
Raft is a very unique survival game where you are pretty much alone in the middle of the sea on a Raft with nothing but a hook. You would have to collect resources and learn to cook food and build yourself a home on the raft itself in order to survive.
The game is filled with tons of resources scattered all over the map. While some are found easily others could be tough to get. There are some resources that you could only get from animals.
Where to Find the Animals :
The animals we come across in raft are mostly wild and would attack you like the bears. However, there are domestic animals that you can tame and get resources from them as well. Yes, you can have your own livestock animals in Raft too.
These livestock animals include the Llama, the Clucker, and the Goat. Cluckers give you eggs, the Llama provides you with wool and the Goat give you milk. You can get these animals in large islands.
In order to catch them you would need a Net Launcher that uses a Net Cannister as ammunition.
This is how you craft a Net Launcher :
- 2 Scrap
- 4 Plastic
- 1 Metal Ingot
- 2 Bolt
Once you are done crafting go for the Net Cannister. This is what you will need :
- 1 Explosive Powder
- 4 Stone
- 4 Rope
When you come across one of the livestock animals just throw your Net Cannister at them. You basically need to fire your Net Launcher at them. It might catch one and you can then take it back to your raft. They would already be tamed but there is always a risk of them trying to run away.
How to Feed and Keep Livestock :
The animals must be kept on grass plots. You need to build one. This is how you build :
- 2 Dirt
- 6 Plank
- 4 Plastic
They take 5 minutes to grow and you need to water them with fresh water. This is where the Livestock will stay and they would feed off the grass. Eventually, when all the grass is eaten you would have to water the plot again to grow more grass.
Still, there is no guarantee yet that your pet animals won’t try to escape. To keep them safe you would have to build a fence around them. This is what you need to build a fence :
- 2 Plank
Well, that is it on how you can catch and tame livestock on Raft. They provide you with valuable resources as well.
That is all for crafting Hinges in Raft. I hope the guide was helpful. Please let us know in the comments section down below. Also, keep following FPS Index for more guides on Raft.
