How to Get Access to Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test- Mortal Kombat 1 releases on 19th September and is perhaps the most awaited fighting game of the year. MK is not only known for its storyline but also for its extremely well-defined gameplay with crisp animations and of course the gore.
In one of our articles, we talked about how you could participate in the MK 1 Closed Beta. However, it seems like NetherRealm Studios is really trying to build an even better product than before. They are conducting an Online Stress Test which would give you the opportunity to play the game even before the Beta which starts in August.
In this guide, we would be discussing how you can enroll yourself for this Stress Test and get a chance to play the game before anyone else.
How to Get Access to Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test
What is a Stress Test?
An Online Stress Test basically means testing out servers or stressing them out to see how they respond and then fixing the problems that come up.
According to the devs the purpose for this “is to deliberately stress our online infrastructure and identify potential issues ahead of the game’s launch.”
There will be users who would have access to the Mortal Kombat 1 game and its online content.
How to Participate in the MK1 Online Stress Test?
Not everyone would have access to the MK1 Stress Test. There will be certain conditions at play.
- You need to be either an Xbox X|S or PlayStation 5 user.
- PC and Nintendo Switch users would not be allowed to participate
- You need to be from the following regions: North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe. Bad luck for users from Asia and other regions apart from the ones mentioned.
In order to participate you would need to have a Warner Brothers account.
If you don’t, go ahead and click on the link above to create one.
If you already have an account click here to participate.
Go to Playtests option under Password and Security. You would find Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test under Available Playtests
- Click on Preregister
- Then click on Accept and Continue
- After that, you need to choose your console. Either Xbox X|S or PS5.
- Select one and then click on Next.
- You will be registered for the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test.
You can change your console by clicking on Update Preferences which can be found in the exact place where you saw Preregister before.
Once you are registered you would have to wait for an email confirmation from NetherRealm Studios. Simply registering would not assure participation for anyone. Yes, you need to be one of the “Chosen Ones” for this.
