How to Unlock or Open the House Chest in Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG based on the magical world of Harry Potter. It has been long since we had got a Harry Potter game that was worth playing and trust me Hogwarts Legacy is slowly paving its way towards being the game of the year.
This game has everything you would want from a wizarding world game including an original story not linked with any of the Potter books. The world is vast and full of secrets to discover. The fact that you are not limited to just Hogwarts makes exploration all the more exciting.
How to Open the House Chest in Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy is full of secrets to discover and puzzles to solve. I guess you have noticed that there is a House Chest inside the common room. The House Chest holds a pretty amazing reward once you open it but the sad part is that you just cannot open it with Alohomora.
There would be an option called Place instead of Unlock and that makes this pretty clear that you need to put something in there.
In order to open the House Chest you need to start “The Daedalian Keys” quest. You would get it after you have advanced a little bit in the story. Once you start with the quest you need to go speak with Nellie Oggspire.
You can find her in the Transfiguration Courtyard. Talk to her and she would tell you about finding 16 Daedalian Keys. These are basically 16 flying keys exactly like the ones we had seen in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie and they will be scattered all around the castle.
The moment you find they will fly away from you. Follow them as they lead you to one of the cabinets nearby.
Once you reach the cabinet a mini-game will begin. The key would be flying around the cabinet and you have to slap them into the keyhole as they are passing over it. You need to time the push correctly.
When you manage to get the key inside the keyhole, the cabinet would open and there would be a house token for you inside. Collect the token and in this way, you have to get all 16 tokens from 16 Daedalian Keys.
After that, you just need to place all 16 House Tokens on the House Chest and it will unlock itself. You would be getting the Relic House Uniform and it is definitely one of the best robes in the game.
