Wondering why Madden NFL 22 keeps crashing on your PlayStation 4 and 5 ? Well, we have just the right guide for you. Lets see how we can easily fix this problem.

Madden NFL 22 PS4 PS5 – Crashing and Freezing | How to Fix the Crash

We finally have Madden NFL out on all platforms. This is the second release for the game on the next gen consoles. The graphics overall do not have much of an improvement but the new facial scans do make things a lot better as it gives you the thrill of playing with you favorite players.

However a lot of users had complained about the game freezing and crashing quite often on the PlayStation consoles. We are hence here to see how we could easily fix this issue for both the PS4 and the PS5.

Firstly make sure you have your console and your game upto date.

Save Files could be the Culprit ( PlayStation 4)

Local saves could very well be the main cause of such problems. Corrupted save files could often cause the game to crash with error codes such as CE-34878-0. Since there isnt a good way to find out which save could be corrupted , we might have to go ahead and remove all of the save files. Server content would not be lost though. Just whatever is saved locally would be gone.

The way you can remove save files is pretty easy. Just go ahead and press the Settings icon on the console menu. Scroll down and look for Storage and then click on Saved Data. Now Simply select the game Madden NFL 22 and press the options button on your controller. Choose all the saved files and then press Delete

Database Error Fixing (PS4 and PS5)

Have you ever heard the term “Defragmenting your drive” ? Well, I believe we all have. It means rearranging data in a certain way so that all apps could access the required data much faster. this increases the overall performance of the game. The PlayStation 5 had been plagued with database issues from the beginning and this could very well be the cause of the issue.

Defragmenting your storage for both your PS4 and PS5 is done in the same way. Just pull out the power plug and completely shut down your console for like 5 minutes. This would clear out the Cached data. Now plug it back it and press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps. On the second beep you let go of the button as the console boots up in Safe Mode. Now simply go ahead and plug the controller with your USB and press the PS button. Now select Rebuild Database.

This will take a while depending on the amount of data you have stored . The entire database would be rebuild and all errors would be fixed.

If these steps do not work for you then do not be afraid to Re-Install or Re-download the game all over again. Sometimes a fresh installation is all we need to fix any problems with the particular game.

Hopefully these steps will help you fix any crash related problems with the game. If this guide was useful please let us know in the comment section down below.
