NBA 2K21 is finally out for all major platforms. We still await the next-gen releases though. The game looks amazing and feels great too. But there is an issue. The game instantly crashes at My Career Player Creation.

At this moment there is no official fix. We might have to wait for the developers to release a patch to fix this.
However, you can still try this step and see if it works for you.
Basically corrupted files can cause the problem. Verifying the files on steam might help in fixing the problem. This is how you do it :
- Launch Steam and Select Library
- Select NBA2K21 from the list
- Right-click on the game and select Properties
- Click on the Local Files Tab
- Click on Verify Integrity of game files
- It will take a while depending on the size of the game.
Once this is done re-launch the game and see if the issue is fixed or not. You can also try Re-installing the game.
- Open Steam and go to Library
- Select NBA2K21 from the list
- Right-click on the Game and select Manage
- Click on Uninstall.
- After Uninstalling Click on the Install button to begin re-downloading the game
Hopefully, these steps will fix the problem. If not then a patch fixes it basically what we are looking for here.
