The Division 2 – How To Get Eagle Bearer Exotic Assault Rifle

The long-awaited raid has finally arrived in The Division 2. The Dark Hours raid has brought a ton of content into the game but the one that most of the players are excited about is the Dark Hours raid reward, which is an Exotic Assault Rifle called the Eagle Bearer.

The Eagle Bearer has already proven itself to be the most powerful exotic rifle in the game. With the combination of some really impressive stats and Talents, the Eagle Bearer is something every Division 2 player would want. Here is how to get the Eagle Bearer exotic assault rifle in The Division 2:

The Division 2 – How To Get Eagle Bearer Exotic Assault Rifle

What is the Eagle Bearer in The Division 2?

The Eagle Bearer is an Exotic assault rifle available in The Division 2 that came with the Dark Hours raid update. It is undoubtedly one of the best weapons in the game if not the best and you can reach some serious DPS with it.

But, what makes the Eagle Bearer so powerful? The combination of mods that come attached with the Eagle Bearer is probably one the best you will find in the entire game. The first mod that we will talk about here is obviously the magazine mod of the Eagle Bearer. The magazine mod, Bullet Eyrie, adds +30 rounds to the magazine of the Eagle Bearer which makes the magazine capacity go all the way up to 60. And the Eagle Bearer also comes with a Reload Time of only 1.9 seconds which is insane for a weapon with such a high magazine capacity. If you ask me, having a mag of 60 bullets and a 1.9 second reload time on a high-damage AR is pretty overpowered.

Then there is the scope which is called the Eagle Eye Sight. The scope of the Eagle Bearer grants a +10% Critical hit chance to the weapon. And the barrel, Jagged Beak, grants +15% Critical hit damage. So players can easily go for a Critical Chance build on their character with this weapon. One thing you have to keep in mind is that these mods come pre-attached to the weapon so you cannot change them.

One more aspect of the Eagle Bearer that makes it so powerful is its Talents. The Talents provided by the Eagle Bearer complement the gun in the best way possible. Here are the Talents of the Eagle Bearer:

Eagle Bearer Talents

  • Eagle’s Strike
Accuracy increases as you continuously fire, up to +100%.
Headshot kills grant +100% Reload Speed, +35% Damage, and the Tenacity buff for 10s.
The strength of Tenacity is increased by 1% for body shots and 5% for headshots.
  • Tenacity
20-80% of damage taken is delayed until the buff expires.
All of the total delayed damage is reduced for each enemy killed while the buff is active, up to 100% with 5 kills.
  • Protected Fire
While holstered, gain 10% bonus armor while firing your current weapon.

How to get the Eagle Bearer AR in The Division 2?

Now that you know how powerful the Eagle Bearer really is, you might have already guessed that getting this weapon would not be easy. And you are absolutely correct as the Eagle Bearer is a raid exclusive exotic weapon that can be only earned by doing the Dark Hours raid.

You have to reach a Gear Score of 490-500 minimum in order to just try getting the Eagle Bearer. But that is not the worst part, the worst part is that the Eagle Bearer only drops from loot chests inside the raid and the drop is completely random. To open these chests, you’ll need a key that can be dropped from any of the four Raid bosses. There is no guarantee that the Eagle Bearer will drop for you even after you complete the entire Dark Hours raid ten times. This actually reminds me of Destiny where Exotic drops are not guaranteed from raids and you would have to keep grinding to increase your chances. So to roundup, everything here is the steps to get Eagle Bearer in The Division 2:

  1. Reach 490 Gear Score
  2. Start the Dark Hours raid
  3. Make one of the four raid bosses drop the loot chest key
  4. Open the loot chest
  5. If you are lucky you will get the Eagle Bearer
