Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Best Graphics Settings for Performance Increase

This guide will be helping you achieve the Best Graphics Settings for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland for Better Overall Performance.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Best Graphics Settings for Performance Increase

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is the successor to the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. You get to live in a chaotic fantasy world with Tiny Tina making life difficult for you. Yes, she is the Dungeon Master, and it’s her little twisted world that you are trying to survive in.

You have several classes with unique abilities to choose from. Just like any other Borderlands game this one too is a Looter Shooter with the primary focus being not just to eliminate all y our enemies but to get as much loot as you can from them.

The game is graphically intense, to be honest. The particle effects and the overall textures and model details are pretty crisp. It is very normal for an average or a below-average PC to have performance issues in the game.

That is what we are here for. I will help you with the best graphics settings which would not only be focused only on performance but also on the visual depth of the game.

First and foremost we have to take the system requirements for this game into consideration. There is no point doing these graphics settings if the PC itself is not strong enough to run this game :

Minimum :

  • Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • AMD FX-8350 or Intel i5-3570
  • 6 GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 470 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4 GB
  • 75 GB storage space
  • DirectX Version 11

Recommended :

      • Windows 10 (64-bit)
      • AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel i7-4770
      • 16 GB RAM
      • AMD Radeon RX 590 8 GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
      • 75 GB storage space
      • DirectX Version 11

If you have a setup close to the minimum requirements then you would probably have to play on everything set to Low. However, what I am trying to help you out with is not for the ones using a setup equivalent to the recommended requirements. It is for those who are in between.

Best Graphics Settings to Boost Performance :

Here is what I feel would be the best Graphics settings that would give you a decent stable FPS in the game and also retain the visual depth of the game to some extent.

Visuals Basic :

  • Graphics API: Direct X 11 ( I have checked with both 11 and 12 and it seems like 11 gave me more FPS )
  • Display Mode: Full Screen
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  • Resolution: Native Monitor Resolution
  • Vertical Sync: Off
  • Resolution Scale: 75% (More FPS with 75% . Lower  the scale more blurry the image, more the FPS. Try it out with 100 first and then lower it down if necessary)
  • Limit Frame Rate: Unlimited
  • Field of View: 90

Visuals Advanced :

  • Anti Aliasing: FXAA (Do not go beyond FXAA)
  • Texture Streaming: Medium (Takes down a lot of FPS when you switch to High or Ultra. Stick to Medium)
  • Material Quality: Medium (You can switch to High and see the difference. Otherwise stick to Medium)
  • Anisotropic Filtering : 4x (Not beyond 4x)
  • Shadows: Low (Impacts a lot on performance. Keep it at Low )
  • Display Stats: Off
  • Draw Distance: Medium (Higher will try to render too much on the screen reducing your FPS and performance)
  • Clutter: Medium
  • Terrain Detail: Low (More the details of the environment lesser the performance. You will be more focused on the enemy than on the environment. So no point putting this to a higher value.)

  • Foliage: Medium
  • Volumetric Fog: Medium
  • Screen Space Reflections:  Medium
  • Character Detail: High
  • Ambient Occlusion: Medium
  • Camera Motion Blur: Off
  • Object Motion Blur: Off
  • FidelityFX Sharpening: Off

There will also be an image in the background which would show you the real-time changes as you play around with the settings. Try and use the settings I have shown you. If in case you do not get good performance go ahead and lower the Foliage, Clutter, and Volumetric Fog details and check.

After you make the changes press “F” on your keyboard to Apply the Changes and then press Escape. If you are on a controller you need to check the button given below. For the keyboard, F is assigned to the Spell button. So you can try that out if you do not see any prompt below.

At times you would have to check by yourself and find out which settings work best for you.

  1. Hello every time I try to change the settings and press escape they all go back to what they previously were. And I don’t see a save option? Am I missing something? Thanks
