WWE 2K22 – How to Remove Turnbuckle Pad

If you like me , love playing dirty in the ring then you have come to the right place. This guide will help you understand how you can remove the Turnbuckle Pad in WWE 2K22.

WWE 2K22 – How to Remove Turnbuckle Pad

As a kid, I used to love the baby faces of the company. However, when I started getting mature I realized the heels made more sense. I loved how they were hungrier, smarter, and also more shellfish. But that is how people are. We are all shellfish in some way or the other.

However, most of the heels would always have this dirty tactical playstyle which I kind of enjoyed watching. I mean who would want to watch righteous men going up against each other? According to me, the heels made the storyline and the matches more interesting.

One of the dirtiest tactics in the book would be when superstars would smoothly remove the Turnbuckle Pad without the ref noticing it. And then when the time was right would smash the opponent’s head right into the open steel to inflict more damage.

How to completely expose the top Turnbuckle Ring Pad  :

Wondering if this could be done in the game as well. Well, yes and this is what we are here for. You can actually remove the turnbuckle pad exposing the steel underneath. You can then go ahead and whip your enemy over there to inflict a good amount of damage. Here is what you need to do :

Go towards the corner of the ring. If you go too close the player would just climb on top of the middle rope. You have to be just close enough for your player to not climb the ropes.

Now go ahead and press the “Finisher/Signature Modifier” button along with the “Pick up Object” button simultaneously.

PlayStation: For PS users it would be the R2 + L1

Xbox: For Xbox users, it is going to be RT + LB

PC: For the PC users on the keyboard it would be Space + U. Remember this is the default setup. If you have changed it then use the buttons for the Finisher Modifier along with the Pick-up Object.

Remember: If you use the exposed steel to your advantage and inflict damage to your opponent in a Normal Match then you will be Disqualified and you would end up losing the match. You can try hitting the ref and doing it but when the ref wakes up you would be disqualified anyways.

So there is no point doing it in a normal match. Go for Extreme Rules or a No Holds Barred match or any match with No Disqualification rules and use this dirty tactic to your advantage.

You can either Irish Whip your opponent to the corner or drag them then smash their head on the steel. Both would lead to a DQ in a Normal Match.  If you wait too long the ref might put it back on.
