AC MIRAGE- Which Edition Should You Buy?

The Assassin’s Creed franchise took a completely different route with the non-stealth RPG games. I am not saying the games were bad but it just didn’t feel like an Assassin’s Creed game to me. At least to people who were introduced to the franchise during the old-school AC games.

However, I am glad that Ubisoft realized what had to be done and decided to stir up our nostalgia by going back to its roots. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is going to be exactly how we picture an AC game to be. It releases on the 5th of October and comes in three Editions- Standard, the Deluxe, and the Collectors.

If you are confused about which Edition to choose from, well this guide will help you figure it out.

AC MIRAGE- Which Edition Should You Buy?

I would never recommend buying the Collector’s Edition simply because it is too overpriced. However, if you still wish to go for it, it is completely your call. So, I will basically be talking about the Deluxe and the Standard ones in this guide.

Before we actually discuss which Edition you should go for, we must know what each of them has to offer:

Standard ($49.99) Deluxe ($59.99)
Base Game Base Game

Deluxe Pack that includes:

  • Sand Outfit (Prince of Persia Inspired Outfit)
  • Mount Skin
  • Eagle Skin
  • Weapons (Dagger of Time and  Sand Sword) and more.
Digital Artbook and Soundtrack Collectibles

It seems like all you can get from the Standard Edition is the base game. However, if you pay the extra 10 bucks, you end up with some pretty good-looking skins.

Here, take a look at this Prince of Persia inspired outfit for Basim in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

If you, like me, are a fan of the old Prince of Persia franchise, you don’t need to think twice before getting the Deluxe Edition. I have longed for another Prince of Persia game and since that does not seem realistic at this point in time, I would rather settle for an in-game skin.

Also, the parkour and fighting style in Mirage are closely related to the Prince of Persia games which makes it even better.

Now I know a lot of people don’t like spending money on cosmetics. So you can go ahead and get the Standard Edition. That is what you can say would be a good value for money. However, if you are a POP fan and you like the skins, you might as well buy the Deluxe Edition. There is really nothing much they can offer within the $10 price range.

Well, there you go. That is all on “AC MIRAGE- Which Edition Should You Buy?
