Are you wondering where all the house common rooms are in Hogwarts Legacy?
Well, this guide will tell you where all the common rooms are located so that you can easily select which one would be easier for you to go to.
All House Common Room Locations in Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy lets you live as a witch or a wizard in the magical world created by J.K. Rowling. The main story does not have any links with the Harry Potter franchise which makes it even more interesting s we do not know what is about to unfold.
So far it is the most anticipated game of the year and it certainly looks promising. Hogwarts Legacy features a magical world as you have never seen before. The outstanding graphics makes the world seem so real. Also, the fact that you can literally go wherever you want and not be bound to school premises is what makes exploration even more fun in this game.
How does Hogwarts Legacy Sort you into houses?
As we all know Hogwarts sorts students into one of four houses. Sorting is basically based on your personality traits done by the sorting hat. However, an interesting fact is that you also have a say in it.
The sorting hat not necessarily will put you in a house that you do not like which is evident from how Harry did not want to get into Slytherin and ended up in Gryffindor.
It seems like Hogwarts Legacy also gives you a choice to choose your own house. You may either import your house and wand by linking your WB account with your Wizarding World account or you can directly select your house in the game.
Normally people would definitely choose the house they love the most but there are some who would pick a house based on which common looks better or which common room is the easiest to travel to during your stay in Hogwarts.
Keep one thing in mind the Hogwarts in the books, the movies, and in Hogwarts Legacy are different from each other. So the locations of the common room might not very accurate in the game if you are trying to follow the books or the movies.
Gryffindor Common Room Location in Hogwarts Legacy:
Gryffindor house was founded by Godric Gryffindor and the main personality traits of a Gryffindor are courage as well as daring, nerve, and chivalry.
The Gryffindor common room is located on the seventh floor and to enter you have to tell the password to the “Fat Lady” (which is basically a portrait that acts as the door to the common room).
This common room is iconic since we all know that Harry was in Gryffindor and we had seen the common room multiple times in the movies.
Slytherin Common Room Location in Hogwarts Legacy:
Founded by Salazar Slytherin for students who were ambitious, resourceful, determined, and clever.
To get to the common room students should make their way down to the Dungeons from a doorway off the Entrance Hall.
Once you enter the Dungeon what you might find to be a bare stretch of a wall is actually the door to the common room. Get closer to it and you would see a giant snake moving across the wall revealing the door to the common room.
The common room looks onto the Great Lake and has a green tint giving it a dark vibe.
Ravenclaw Common Room Location in Hogwarts Legacy:
Ravenclaw was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw and the personality traits to get sorted into this house are intelligence, learning, wisdom, and wit.
The common room is on the fifth floor on the western side of the castle. There will be a spiral staircase that you need to climb until you come across a door with an Eagle knocker. The Eagle asks you a riddle according to the books but I doubt that would be the case in the game.
This is my personal favorite common room when it comes to visuals. the common room is bright and has an airy feel to it. There are plenty of windows and you could get an amazing view of the Quidditch ground, the Forbidden Forest, and the Great Lake.
Hufflepuff Common Room Location in Hogwarts Legacy:
The Hufflepuff house was founded by Helga Hufflepuff. You need to have a strong sense of justice, loyalty, patience, and a propensity for hard work to be a Hufflepuff.
The common room is located down the same corridor as the kitchens. The entrance is behind large barrels. The barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, will open if tapped in the rhythm of ‘Helga Hufflepuff’.
Failing to open the door, would lead to the person getting drenched in vinegar.
This common room has a very warm look to it. It is one of those dormitories that you would want to head to after a tiring day just to relax to the peaceful vibe.
There you go, these are the locations of all four common rooms in Hogwarts Legacy.
