Mortal Kombat 1 is definitely one of the best Mortal Kombat games I have played. Maybe because I loved the tag team mode back in MK9 and MK1 gives you a similar vibe with the new Kameos.

The best thing about the MK franchise is that NetherRealm does all the animations and special moves from scratch. They always improved upon everything we had got in the last game.

Fatalities are something that makes this game stand out. The ability to obliterate your opponent in the most brutal way at the end of the round has always proved to be extremely satisfying for the fans.

Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) gives you 2 Fatalities per character. However, what we do not know, is that there is another Hidden or Secret Fatality for every playable character which has to be discovered.

It reminds me of the old days when we used to randomly hit buttons hoping to get a Fatality done. Back in the arcades, kids would bring notes or even write down the Fatalities on walls. Internet used to be a luxury back then and all the stuff we knew came from constant grinding.

It seems like NetherRealm wants to take us all back to the old days. However, life is a lot different in 2023 and we have guides all over the internet for almost anything you ask for.
