Which is the Best Background?
For the early game, I would say Soldier is undoubtedly the best background to go with. The main reason is that it gives you extra Lung Capacity and extra damage from Ballistic weapons and you get the Boost Pack which is basically a Jetpack.
Considering how the game is designed, Stamina would play a key role. The game has large open areas that you would need to cover quickly, especially early on when you need to explore for materials and XP.
Running out of Stamina is the last thing you want in this game. The extra bit of Lung Capacity would really help you with that.
Also, the Boost Pack is another reason why I would be going for this Background. Having a Jetpack in a game like Starfield makes a lot of impact on exploration. You can reach places that you might normally find difficult or impossible to reach. You can also escape from enemies if you are backed into a corner or if you are running low on HP.
This Background suits perfectly to my playstyle. It is worth noting that your Background should actually depend on your playstyle. If you love stealth then there is no point getting the Soldier or Gangster Backgrounds. You can instead go for Cyber Runner.
That is all you need to know about “Picking the Best Background for Starfield”.
