Best Graphics Settings for TEKKEN 8: Tekken 8 is developed on Unreal Engine 5 and we all know what that means- Breathtaking Visuals and Effects.
Tekken as a franchise never really stood out in the graphical department until Tekken 8 which is perhaps the most visually impressive fighting game I have ever played. The better the visuals the more demanding the game becomes.
To cope with that, we have prepared the best Graphics Settings for Tekken 8 that would let you enjoy the best of both worlds. The game would feel smooth and at the same time retain some of its visual depth.
Best Graphics Settings for TEKKEN 8
Doing the best graphics settings guide for the beast setups with the RTX 4090s does not make sense. They will be able to run the game smoothly at 60 frames even at the highest visual quality.
It is the average PC we are concerned with. Considering not every config is the same, I will be explaining how each setting could have an overall effect on performance.
Firstly we need to check the System Requirements for this game:
MINIMUM:
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K/AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti/AMD Radeon R9 380X
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
RECOMMENDED:
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K/AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070/AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
These are the System Requirements for Tekken 8 on PC according to Steam. So if you are anywhere below the minimum config or equivalent to it, your only option is to set everything on Low and play the game. Even then I doubt whether it would run smoothly or not.
Graphics Settings for Tekken 8:
Go to Options (gear icon) > Graphics Settings:
- Screen Mode: Full Screen (Always keep this on Full Screen for best Performance. Avoid Borderless)
- Resolution: Native (Use whatever is the default resolution of your monitor)
- V-Sync: Off (If you put it to On, there will be an input delay as the game would skip frames to keep it stable)
- Rendering Quality Preset: Custom
- Upscaling: DLSS Quality (Just to get maximum performance Online. Even the most minor frame drops could cost you a round. DLSS normally upsacles a lower resolution to your selected resolution giving you better performance with an almost similar visual.)
- Anti-Aliasing Quality: Medium (Low to Medium is fine for Online play)
- Shadow Quality: Low (Pretty huge impact on Performance. I would always recommend keeping this on Low)
- Texture Quality: Low/Medium/High (Does not have a huge impact on performance but mainly consumes VRAM. If you have less VRAM and a high Texture setting, you will have really bad performance. If your VRAM is less than 4, use Low, 4 to 6 should be Medium, and 6 above should be High or Ultra.)
- Effect Quality: Low/ Medium (This has a decent impact on performance. So keep it on Low or Medium. Also the lower it is the cleaner the moves look. You would need that to see clearly in an Online match)
- Post-Processing Quality: Medium
- Background Quality: Low/ Medium (Also has a decent impact on performance. I love the stages so I kept it on Medium. If you only care about the fight then just set it to Low)
- Measure/Display FPS: On (So that you can monitor your game’s performance)
The best way to adjust Visual Settings is to play around with it and see what works best for you and what feels more comfortable. Enjoying the game should be the priority.
