Best Place to Farm Legendary Gear Early Game in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 is perhaps the best RPG game of the year and is my personal favorite. The game offers you so much that it could be really hard to get bored with it.

The map is huge with tons of loot waiting for you. Users manage to grind for hours without even realizing it. That is how good this game is.

RPG games are about becoming stronger with time. The more you play, the more XP you gain and the better your gear the stronger you are. In order to get the rarest items in the game you must grind a lot. However, grinding without success could be stressful.

This is why today we have a guide for you that would help you get Legendary items easily as you start the game. Today we will be talking about the best place where you can farm these rare items early-game.

Best Place to Farm Legendary Gear Early Game in Diablo 4

We are all aware that in RPGs, there are several places across the map that are good for loot. The drops in Diablo are pretty much random but still, it follows the same concept.

Dungeons are packed with enemies and top-tier loot. Also, your difficulty level will matter when it comes to your drops. The higher your difficulty, the better your loot. So what about the new players?

I would always recommend starting Diablo 4 on World Tier 2 Veteran difficulty. It makes the game very balanced in terms of enemies as well as loot. I would be talking about two places that would take you a very short time to clear and it almost guarantees a legendary item.

Events Around Kyovashad:

If you are new to the game you would notice an orange circle on the map appear as you explore. These are basically events that give you a chance of getting some good items. This is also where users farm obols.

There is this particular location on the map, where an event takes place and it would drop you a legendary item most of the time. I have marked it on the map.

Head to this location and you would find the orange circle marker that confirms an event is currently going on. Complete the event and you would be given a chest top open which contains good loot. I ran this even so many times and I can assure you that it is one of the best events to get Legendary items from.  This is what you need to do:

  • Go to the Location and complete the event.
  • Open the chest and get your loot.
  • Leave the area completely. It is best if you leave Kyovashad.
  • Now Exit the game completely. If you are on Windows you need to Exit back to your Desktop.
  • Start the game again and head to the same location.
  • Keep repeating this method.

It only takes around 3-4 minutes to complete the event and every time you do you have a good chance of getting a Legendary item.

Cultist Refuge Dungeon in Nostrava:

Well, this is perhaps the best place to farm Legendaries early on in the game. However, the Way Point and the Dungeon become accessible only when you clear the Nostrava Stronghold and take it under control.

There is no final boss in the dungeon so it will take you around 5-10 minutes to clear it. You will only find a bunch of Elites in there. But the best thing about the Dungeon is that it is very consistent in dropping Legendaries.

I made 10 runs and got 8 Legendary items so far. This is very good considering we are still in World Tier 2. You have to follow the same steps as before.

  • Clear the dungeon.
  • Leave the area.
  • Exit the game completely
  • Then start the game and head back to the location.
  • Keep repeating as many times as you want.

There are other Dungeons that give you decent loot as well but most of them have a final Boss. Honestly, I would not waste my time-fighting bosses unless I can defeat them within 2 minutes.

The other dungeons without a boss are pretty long and take quite a while to complete. There the Cultist Refuge is certainly the best one out there.

That is all you need to know about the best location to farm Legendary Items in Diablo 4 early-game.
