Cannot Do LASER Challenge with Marksman Rifles in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3)
As you are grinding camos for Marksman Rifles, you will come across this really simple challenge that lets you unlock the Gold or Gilded one. Looks rather simple for a challenge, to be honest.
However, there is a catch to this which I think could actually be a glitch.
I tried to put on different lasers but not once did it track my progress. Every time I came back to the menus, I would see that I still needed “10 kills using a laser attachment”.
I guess the instructions could not have been clearer.
- Attach a Laser to your weapon.
- Hop into a game and get 10 kills while having that attachment equipped.
So what are we missing?
After 2-3 hours of grinding, I finally realized where they went wrong or rather what exactly is the bug.
You need to equip the first Laser that you see in the list.
For me, it is the SL RazorHawk Laser Light.
It does not matter what the stats are, but this is the only attachment that works for the Gold Camo Challenge. I know it is super annoying as there are tons of lasers better than the one we are talking about but there is no other way to get it done.
I really hope they fix this bug soon or specifically mention the name of the attachment in the Challenge.
