Chapter 3 How to Find the Church in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE)- Resident Evil 4 was first released back in 2005. The game was a masterpiece back then and one of my personal favorite games of all time. The remade version however is a step ahead of the original one.
Resident Evil 4 Remake 2023 is finally out on all platforms. It is more like an improved version of the original in every way. Every change they made in this game makes sense and it still manages to make me feel nostalgic.
Unlike modern-day games, Resident Evil 4 Remake has no GPS to guide you around. You need to constantly switch to the map to check if you are actually going the right way. This makes the game more challenging as you never know if you are going on the right path.
In Chapter 3 you find yourself inside the Chief’s house after getting bullied yet again. the only instruction you have is that you need to make your way to the church. If you check the map you don’t see any path leading to it as it is still undiscovered.
At this point in time, you question the existence of a map in the game but that is how it is and we need to get used to it. This guide will help you find your way to the church.
Chapter 3 How to Find the Church in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE)
The first thing you need to do is to get out of the Village Chief’s Manor and open the gate in front with the Insignia key that you got. Now make your way to the Village Square. It would just be a straight path that would lead you to this place.
Now, this is where things get a little tricky. The Village Square is the place where you first square up against a hundred zombies including the chainsaw guy. In middle, there would be this wooden platform where the zombies were burning someone.
As you move forward you see a building collapse and block the path. Confused? Well, here is what you need to do.
Remember, the well in the demo where we used to get the TMP? Well, if you do then you know exactly where to go. In case you don’t, this is how you find it.
Go to the place from where you used the binoculars to see the zombies lighting a fire on someone in Chapter 1. Now move forward and you will see a path on the right. This path leads you to the well but it should be blocked.
Instead, take the right turn ahead of it. Follow that path and you will be able to reach the well.
This well was closed back in Chapter 1 but now mysteriously it is open. Drop down into the well and climb up on the other side. You will reach the door of their ritual place which you need to open with the Insignia key.
There will be an exit from the second room and you will get to the Merchant. Save your game, buy whatever you need, and follow the path that leads you to the church.
