Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is not just about the weapons that you carry. Your equipment is vital as it could provide crucial intel or help you survive.
You are allowed to carry two grenades- one lethal and the other non-lethal. I personally love the Semtex. It is a grenade that sticks to any surface, including enemies. Does not deal as much damage as a Frag Grenade but is surely more useful.
However, the Semtex is going to be locked as you start off with MW3. This guide will tell you how you can unlock it quickly.

The best thing about the Semtex is that it blows off quicker compared to a frag grenade. It also does not bounce, so you just need to get the trajectory right when you throw it.
It is one of the best lethals in the game and you would probably want to carry it too. However, unlike the weapons, there is a different way of unlocking the Semtex in Modern Warfare 3.
As you browse through the lethal equipment section, you will come across the Semtext which has a specific requirement to unlock. Over here it wants you to complete 3 Daily Challenges to unlock the sticky grenade.
But before that, you would have to click on the option that says Activate Armory Unlock. Once done, you will get a message in the top right corner- “Armory Unlock Activated”.
This is when the required daily challenges that you complete actually count. Now head over to your Home screen and see what daily objectives you need to complete.
For me, they are:
- Get 3 Operator Headshot Kills with Marksman Rifles.
- Use Field Upgrades 5 times.
- Get 7 Operator Headshot Kills.
The Daily Challenges are different for every user and they expire after a certain time. Also, remember that if you complete the daily objectives before activating the Armory Unlock, you would have to wait for another day or rather the next set of Daily Challenges to unlock it.
