EA Sports FC24- NO COMMENTARY Bug| How to FIX
If you are one of the users who are facing the annoying gameplay with no commentary problem in FC24, you have to the right place. Although there is no official fix to the problem, there are a few ways you can actually solve the issue.
Game Audio Settings:
- Go to Settings> Game Settings> Audio
- Scroll down to Commentary Volume and make it 0
- Now go to Disable Critical Commentary, set it to Off
Now start a match in Kick-Off mode and immediately end the game.
Go back to the Audio settings:
- Set Commentary Volume to 10
- And turn On “Disable Critical Commentary”.
Start a match and check if you get the commentary back. If it comes back, you can change the Disable Critical Commentary back to Off if you want.
Changing the Camera:
For a lot of users changing the Gameplay Camera to Custom Height and Width fixed the problem. There is no logic behind this but it is worth a shot.
Verifying Game Files:
The last possibility could be that the game might have missing audio (commentary) files. For that running a verification check could be the best thing to do.
Steam:
- Open Steam Library
- Select EA Sports FC24 from the left panel
- Click on Installed Files
- Now click on Verify integrity of game files
EA App:
- Go to EA App and just select EA Sports FC24
- Click on Manage
- Now finally click on Repair
It might take a while, but any missing audio files will be downloaded. If this does not fix the problem you can try re-installing the game. However, there could be a patch rolling out on day one. So any bugs like these should be fixed after the patch. If the problem is not solved for you even after following all these steps, the patch will definitely fix it.
