Invasions Season 3 is finally here in Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) and the skins look amazing. It’s probably the only reason why I grind this mode. There are several new Mesas with new Boss fights and puzzles.
I am not a huge fan of the Invasions but if you are into grinding outfits and gear, this is undoubtedly the best mode for you. Especially if you do not like playing Online. Invasions mode helps you relax and enjoy the game. However, the boss fights could certainly be stressful.
If you are struggling to beat Golden Goddess Tanya, we have got you covered.
How to Defeat TANYA GOLDEN GODDESS Boss in Mortal Kombat 1
Tanya has always been a strong character in MK games and it is no different in MK1. Even though she is great in the game, not many people like to use her. Which is why there are so many users who do not know about her moves.
Golden Goddess Tanya is not an easy boss. You will have to go through 3 rounds to beat her with the 3rd one being the toughest.
Before you start the match make sure you have boosted your health, attack, and specials for maximum damage and survivability.
She might start the match by summoning her hands and using all of them as one projectile. Your only way out is to block them as jumping over them would be impossible. But don’t worry as she won’t keep spamming that. Also, remember that she will be in armor mode during the animation and it takes pretty long. You can easily walk up to her and uppercut her before blocking the projectiles.
Your goal is to win two rounds and the best to do that is with uppercuts and overhead attacks. Tanya just doesn’t seem to care much about overhead and gets hit 9 out of 10 times. However, if you keep spamming the same move more than twice she will keep blocking it every time.
If you can pull off combos, go for it. If she isn’t armoring through your attacks you can easily launch her for a full combo.
Pretty much the same as Round 1 but the only difference is that you lose health if you stay close to Tanya. If you are using a character who is good at zoning, don’t be shy. Plan B however, would be to finish her off quickly so you don’t die in the process. This is why you need to assign more points to your health.
She starts the round with a survival game where she throws projectiles at you and you have to dodge them. You can easily jump over the mids and the lows but I would recommend ducking the highs. When she throws multiple ones at you, they are unavoidable. So you would have to block that and take the chip damage.
Round 3 (Final Round):
Just like the first two rounds, Tanya starts with a survival game where she summons all the hands and hurls them at you. Sometimes one after the other, or multiple at once.
There will be a little gap between the projectiles so you can land one of your own on Tanya and deal a good amount of damage to her by the time she is done. This round will be more difficult than the first two. She would armor through most of your moves, up-block your overheads, flawless block your mids and lows, and even launch you for a short combo.
She would mostly be spamming her specials and as long as they are not projectiles, should be easy to punish.
