Kameos make the game a lot more interesting in Mortal Kombat 1. The fact that you can get away with unsafe moves with the help of Kameos certainly shows how effective they can be in the game.
Along with Assist move sets, the Kameos also have their own Fatality and Brutalities. But did you know Motaro is the only Kameo who can initiate a Fatal Blow? Well, if you are wondering how is that even possible, we are here to help you out.
How to Do MOTARO KAMEO Fatal Blow in Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1)
Having your Kameo present during a Fatal Blow could help you out in a way. They could take the punish for you giving you another shot at winning the round. However, Motaro is the only Kameo that could initiate a Fatal Blow by being the first one to hit the opponent before the animation begins.
Some characters in MK1 do not have enough range on their Fatal Blow. This is where Motaro comes into play. His Fatal Blow initiation gives you enough range to catch opponents off guard. For example, we know how hard landing Johnny’s Fatal Blow is in a combo. If you select Motaro as his Kameo, you can easily extend combos into Fatal Blows dealing an insane amount of damage.
To do a Kameo Fatal Blow you need to press:
Block+ Stance Switch buttons together to start the cutscene, then press the Assist button right before the animation begins. You can go ahead and spam the button until you see Motaro hit the opponent.
R1 for PlayStation and RB for Xbox
For other Kameos, they will just stand there while you initiate the first blow apart from Motaro. This is one of the reasons why I love him.
