In this guide, we will be talking about how you can easily Unlock and Perform the Hidden Brutality of Quan Chi.
How to do QUAN CHI’s Secret Brutality in Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1)
As you progress through the Character Mastery with Quan Chi you will be unlocking his Brutalities one at a time at certain levels. You won’t find the input for the Secret one anywhere in the Moves List. The only way to unlock is by discovering it on your own.
You only have to reach Level 1 with Quan Chi and unlock his “Portal of Blood‘ Brutality. You can do this by ending the round with a throw. However, with the input that I am about to give you, a secret or hidden animation can be triggered.
Here is what you need to do:
Hold DOWN after pressing the Throw button to end the Round. That is how you do the regular Brutality.
But to do the Alternate one you need to hold DOWN until the Brutality starts and then hold UP just before Quan Chi throws the opponent inside the Portal.
The difference is that instead of the opponent’s skeleton being thrown out of the portal he will be skinned alive.
