Starfield is a one of a kind Space Exploration game that takes place way into the future. During a time when people on Earth have complete control of space travel and have settled on other planets.
You are at New Atlantis as you start off the game and it is a part of the Alpha Centauri star system.
However, if you are really getting homesick you could go and visit Earth or its neighbour Mars anytime you want. This guide will tell you how.
How to Reach Our Solar System/Earth in Starfield?
There will be quite a few Star systems in the game with several planets and moons you could travel to. One of these would be Alpha Centauri star system which is the nearest to our solar system.
To find Earth or any other planet from our Solar System, you just need to head over to the Starmap and look for Alpha Centauri. That is where you would initially be.
Now look North-West from that star system and you will be able to find another star system called Sol.
That is it, that is our Solar System. Expand the area and you will see the planets we are all familiar with. You can choose to go to Mars, or Earth or any other planet you like.
However, it was pretty sad when I discovered that Earth is no longer the “blue planet“. Everything is destroyed and Earth is more like a desert without only miles and miles of emptiness. Maybe this is why people from Earth have settled on other planets.
It was also a bit scary when I realized that it could actually end up being true.
There you go, that is how you reach our Solar System in Starfield.
