How to Remove WANTED/ Clear BOUNTY in Starfield

Bounty Hunters might be easy to take down at the beginning but trust me as your level goes up life starts becoming tougher. You will encounter stronger Bounty Hunters who are quite difficult to defeat.

Let’s just say removing the Wanted level from your character could act as a blessing giving you more freedom in the game. You would not have to constantly engage in fights against these Bounty Hunters.

So if you are wondering how you can get this done? Here is a simple guide for you.

How to Remove WANTED/ Clear BOUNTY in Starfield

Firstly, you need to know that Bounty is faction-based. So in case, you have a Bounty on planets with United Colonies, it is possible not to have one with Freestar Collective planets.

So the first would be to go to a Star System where you do not have a Bounty. That way, it will be easier for you to explore around and not engage with Hunters all the time.

The next step would be to look for the “Tracker Alliance Self Service Bounty Clearance“, which is a Kiosk that looks very similar to ATMs and says. You will find these in all the major cities across the planet.

Access the kiosk and pay the amount they ask for to clear out the Bounty. You can choose to clear both your Bounty and Criminal Records in exchange for Credits.

If you wish to Remove the Wanted Trait completely then you have to look for Tracker Alliance Agents and pay them 3000 credits.

These NPCs are tricky to find and the two that we know of at the moment are located in The Well on New Atlantis and one at the entryway of Cydonia on Mars.

Once removed you cannot get the trait back. Also, removing the trait comes with a few downsides. You will miss out on the unique responses while persuading criminals. And you may also notice a reduced damage output at low health.

Therefore think before you choose to completely remove the Wanted trait.

That is all you need to know about “How to Remove WANTED/ Clear BOUNTY in Starfield”.
