LAST EPOCH- How to REMOVE SKILL POINTS and PASSIVES: Wondering how you can reset your skill tree or remove any passive that you accidentally learned in the game? Well, this guide explains how Refunding/ Removing Skill points and Passives or Mastery Points work in Last Epoch.

LAST EPOCH- How to REMOVE SKILL POINTS and PASSIVES / MASTERY POINTS

Removing Skill Point is not as simple as you think in Last Epoch. If you have played Diablo, you are probably accustomed to a single-click refund that costs you some gold. In Last Epoch the concept of Passive and Skill Points work differently. Therefore removing these things also works differently.

How to Respec Skill Points or Specialization in Last Epoch:

As you progress through the game, you learn different skills with your character. Then you choose a specialization as the game guides you and build on that specific skill. So, in other words, you will already learn all the base skills as you level up. However, your specialization tree will determine how strong you are.

To Remove a Skill from the Specialization Tree you will have to Respec that Skill. You have two ways of doing that:

• Remove a Skill Point
• Despecialize or Reset the entire Specialization Tree.

To do that:

• Go to your Specialization Tree
• Now in the top right corner, you will find an option called Respec. 

• Simply click on the Respec option and you will get the two options that we mentioned before.
• If you want to reset the entire Specialization, then select Despecialize. If you want to only remove one skill point at a time then select Remove Points. 

Remember: You can only instantly reallocate the Skill Points based on your Minimum Specialized Level / Minimum Skill Level (this increases as you level up the character). The rest of the skill points should be earned once again. For example, if you have allocated 10 Skill Points to your Specialization and your Minimum Specialized Level is 5, then you can only re-allocate 5 Skill Points instantly after removing them. The other 5 must be earned by playing the game and defeating enemies like you did before. So think twice before Removing Points or Despecializing the entire Tree.

How to Remove Passive Skills or Mastery Points in Last Epoch:

Let’s say you want to change your build. For that, you would have to change your Passives and Mastery Points. But unlike Skill Points, Passives cannot be reset or removed through your Passive menu.

To Remove a Passive Skill you need to:

• Check the Map and look for an Icon that looks like a Pink Brain. 
• This will be a person that will help you reset your Passives. Look for this lady and speak to her.

• However, she will charge you a price in gold. So make sure you have enough of it to reset your Passives or Mastery Points.
