Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is perhaps the most awaited game of 2023. The game is out for the PlayStation and it looks amazing. Web Swinging, like always feels even smoother with new animations and techniques, while combat has never felt more satisfying.
Insomniac has been doing an awesome job with combat in the Spidey games. The Skill tree in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is extremely detailed and this time you get to build each character separately along with a few skills that both Peter and Miles share.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2- Best Skills To Unlock
You need Skill Points to advance through the Skill Tree. If you go to your Menu, you will find a tab called Skills where you can purchase the skills with skill points that you earn as you play the game. The more XP you gain, the more Skill Points you earn and the faster you progress through your skill tree.
Best Skills to Get Early On:
Here are the skills you may want to unlock first in the game.

We have focused more on Aerial Abilities and this will make the “Spider-Men” overpowered in the game. Some of the Suit Techs like Air Marshal and Air Focus go hand in hand with Air Combos. Combine them with Bounce and Air Swap, you will be clearing gangs in seconds.
Combo Resupply helps you extend combos by the use of currently unlocked Gadgets. If you like using Gadgets, you can take the Gadget Resupply that resupplies a gadget shot upon using a Finisher.
Web Whip and Web Throw are equally important combat skills. The Web Whip lets you snatch away guns from enemies. This works well for enemies with guns who like to stay at a distance.
It is also worth noting that Skills that reduce cooldowns of your existing skills or gadgets are extremely important for combat effectiveness. Ultimate Assist helps you gain meter for Symbiote Surge and Mega Venom Blast faster.
The skills I have mentioned here are not in any specific order and are just standouts in the skill trees. You can obviously build your character the way you want to. Don’t worry about running out of Skill Points as the game gives you enough to max out all three Skill Trees. The ones I have shown are basically skills that you would want to get early on in the game.
