Counter-Strike is one of the most difficult FPS games in the world. Not only because of the extreme recoil patterns when you shoot but also because you need to be super precise with your utilities.
Learning smokes for maps is a common practice and with the new Counter Strike 2 Limited Test underway, there have been a lot of changes done to the maps.
In this guide, we will be learning how to smoke the 3 most essential spots on the A-Site of Mirage while playing as Terrorists in Counter Striker 2 (CS2).
MIRAGE A Site Smokes for Terrorists CS2 (Counter Strike 2)
Mirage is a map that is really CT (Counter-Terrorist) sided. To enter Bombsite A you need to execute perfect smokes on the the three most important areas:
- CT Spawn area
- Jungle and Connector area
- Stairs area
Here is how you can smoke the areas with perfect accuracy.
CT Spawn Smoke for Mirage A-Site:
CT spawn area is basically a camper’s paradise. You would often find AWPers looking directly at A-main from behind the crates.
So here is how you can smoke the entire area leaving no gaps for them to peek.
Align yourself with the spot shown in the picture.
Make sure your crosshair is in the middle.
Now look towards A- Site place your crosshair align it perfectly with the ledge on the right. You can see it in the picture.
From this spot do a Jump Throw.
Make sure the timing of your jump throw is right. You should release the smoke just a microsecond after you make the jump.
There you go, a perfect CT Smoke without any gaps for AWPers to peek. Even if they take a boost on the crate they won’t see anything.
Stairs Smoke for Mirage A-Site:
The Stair area is also another spot for CTs to easily take down anyone coming from the Palace. We need to smoke that as well. Here is how to do it:
Jump onto the ledge outside the Palace Entrance.
Make sure your crosshair is aligned to the center of the vertical beam. Like you see in the picture.
Now Look towards A site.
Align your crosshair with the black mark of the wooden pole on the right. Also, make sure that your crosshair is aligned perfectly with the ledge corner on the left. See the picture for a better understanding.
Now to a regular throw. Do not jump or move. Just throw the smoke while placing your crosshair exactly where it is shown in the picture.
That is how you do a perfect Stairs smoke.
Jungle+Connector Smoke for Mirage A-Site:
The Stairs smoke needs to be combined with the Jungle and Connector smoke to completely block off the CTs from the right side of the A-Site.
Here is how you can do a Jungle and Connector smoke:
Climb the platform attached to the outside of the Palace Area and Head towards the A Main Entrance.
Align yourself with the center of the 2nd Beam.
Now turn around and look towards the A-Site. Point the crosshair to exactly how it is shown in the picture.
Now do a regular throw. Remember not to jump or move while you throw the smoke.
And there you go, a perfect smoke that covers both the Jungle and Connector area of the A-Site.
