PlayStyles is a brand-new feature that lets individual players stand out against the rest. We can easily compare this to traits and character personality that lets you dominate certain aspects of the game with specific individuals.
You normally start off Ultimate Team with really low-rated cards. But later on, you replace these cards with better ones. However, with the concept of Player Evolution, you can now upgrade a player’s stats and skill to keep him “competitive throughout the year“.
Not only that, you will now be able to have custom designs on these cards.
How will you Upgrade Player Stats and Skills?
As I mentioned before, there will be certain conditions that need to be met. You just cannot randomly upgrade players. There will be some who will be eligible for Evolution and there will be an Evolution Criteria.
Only the players who meet these Evolution Criteria will be able to grow statistically. There will also be in-game objectives that you would have to complete to ensure the player gets to evolve.
Overall, I would say it adds a very unique concept to the game. Having a lower-rated player and then upgrading it to a level similar to the special cards would definitely be worth the grind.
