Ever since Ubisoft took the RPG route Assassin’s Creed games have not felt the same. Anyone loyal to the franchise would tell you instantly that they loved the old games a lot more. However, change is the only constant in the universe. And if they had not switched to the new format perhaps we might not have longed for another one of the old school Assassin’s Creed games.
Well, let’s say our wishes have come true and Ubisoft is finally going back to its roots and giving us Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The game will be available on all platforms from the 5th of October.
It is strictly a single-player game and you can download the PC version from Epic Games Store or by taking a subscription to Ubisoft’s own Ubisoft Plus. However, a lot of users are wondering whether or not the game will be available on Steam or on Game Pass.
This guide today will answer all these questions.
Will AC MIRAGE be on Steam and Game Pass?
Ubisoft has mentioned before that abandoning Steam was more of a business decision. However, they changed their mind and now we have all the AC games on Steam including Valhalla which was added to Steam almost after a month of release.
For now, we do not see Assassin’s Creed Mirage anywhere in the Steam Store. With pre-orders being underway, I don’t think the game will be added anytime soon. There is no official confirmation about AC Mirage getting added to Steam yet, at least not at launch.
The same goes for Game Pass. We only have two Assassin’s Creed games on the Xbox/ PC Game Pass and none of them were added at launch. In fact, we do not even have Valhalla yet. So it is safe to conclude that we won’t be having AC Mirage on the Game Pass anytime soon.
As of now, there is no official information regarding this either. Whatever we are talking about in this article is based on presumptions.
If you do wish to buy the game at a cheaper price you can opt for the Ubisoft+ subscription and get access to the Deluxe Edition of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It will be available from day one and will be there in your Library until your subscription comes to an end. However, the Ubisoft+ will only be available to PC and Xbox users.
