A lot of users are currently facing the same problem where they would start the game and encounter an Error Message that says “Load Failed“. It seems like for some reason the game could not recognize or find your saves or DLC.

WWE 2K24- LOAD FAILED Error /Save Error / DLC Can’t be Found !! How to Fix
The moment you start the game you come across this long error message. It says “Load Failed. The downloadable content that you previously downloaded can’t be found. Please re-download the following downloadable content…if you select YES, all Save data will be lost“.
The game cannot recognize my DLC content and pressing Yes would re-download it. But I lose my Saves in the process.
At this point, the logical thing to do will be to select NO. In doing that you will be taken to the screen where you need to press a button to continue. But sadly on pressing a button, you will be taken back to the error screen again.
I would not recommend selecting Yes unless you want to say goodbye to your saves. Do not Click on YES, there is also a chance you might lose your pre-order bonus as well.
Is there a FIX?
Well, there are two fixes that you can try. However, there is no guarantee that it would solve the problem, and they are not official fixes. You may also lose your saved data but if you feel it is worth a shot, go for it.
Fix 1:
- Go to Steam Library and look for WWE 2K24.
- Now Right-click and go to Properties.
- Select DLC.
- Now uncheck all the DLC.
- Close Steam and turn it back on.
- Now follow the same steps and check back all DLCs.
- Close Steam and start it again.
- Launch the game and check.
Fix 2:
- From the Steam Library select WWE 2K24.
- Now right-click and go to Properties.
- Go to Installed Files.
- Now Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
This should re-download the DLC content that the game claims to be missing.
Submitting a ticket at 2K Support might also help.
If these steps do not fix the problem, your best option is to wait for 2K to fix it. If you ask me, I recommend not doing anything and leaving it as it is. Wait for a couple of hours and check. Maybe they are having a server problem. So think twice before you do anything. The best option would be to wait.
